Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a solar cell module equipped with a sealing material layer comprising a heat-curable sealing material sheet having polyethylene as the base resin, wherein crosslinking of the sealing material layer is sufficiently advanced and the amount of outgas present therein is sufficiently suppressed. A solar cell module 1 including an obverse surface-side protective substrate 2, a reverse surface-side protective substrate 5, a solar cell element 4, and a sealing material layer 3 for sealing the solar cell element 4 between the obverse surface-side protective substrate 2 and the reverse surface-side protective substrate 5, wherein: the sealing material layer 3 comprises sealing material sheets 31, 32 that have a gel fraction of 65-80% and that have, as the base resin, polyethylene having a density of 0.865 g/cm3 to 0.900 g/cm3; and the amount of outgas present in the sealing material layer 3 is 1.81 μg/g or below in terms of toluene.
