Abstract:
A sole (10) comprises an outer sole (100), a midsole (200) and a plate (300). The plate (300) has a toe section (310) and a metatarsal section (320). The toe section (310) has: a front-end edge part (310a) having a shape curved so as to protrude frontward in the longitudinal direction; a recessed edge part (310b) having a shape extending so as to head rearward in the longitudinal direction along the orientation from a widthwise outer-side end of the front-end edge part toward the widthwise outer side, the shape being curved so as to bulge toward the widthwise inside; and an outer-side edge part (310c) having a shape extending rearward in the longitudinal direction from a widthwise outer-side end of the recessed edge part, the shape being curved so as to bulge toward the widthwise outer side.
