Abstract:
This solenoid is provided with a molded coil, a housing, a yoke, an anchor, a cylinder, and an armature. The housing and the yoke are connected via the cylinder. A storage tube section of the housing has a first end, a second end, and a third end. The first end faces the anchor. The second end is recessed in an axial line direction with respect to the first end and has a contact section in contact with the other end of the cylinder in the axial direction thereof. The third end is recessed further than the second end in the axial line direction with respect to the first end and has accommodated therein a brazing material (a copper ring) for sealing the interval between said third end and the cylinder.
