Abstract:
A solenoid valve is provided with a valve member 43 which is operated to a closing position at which the valve member is in contact with a valve seat section to block the communication between ports 32, 33, and to an opening position at which the valve member is located away from the valve seat section to allow the communication between the ports 32, 33. The bobbin 13 of a solenoid 11 has arranged therein a stationary core 18 and a movable core 21 which reciprocates axially. A rocking member 41 having the valve member 43 provided thereto is mounted in a rockable manner to a valve housing 12 having ports 31-33 provided therein, and a pivoting lever 51 is mounted in a pivotable manner to the valve housing 12. The pivoting lever 51 is provided with: an operation section 53 making contact with one end section of the rocking member 41; and an effort point 54 with which the front end of the movable core 21 makes contact. The opening and closing stroke of the valve member 43 is increased to be greater than the movement stroke of the movable core 21.
