Abstract:

Provided is a solid battery wherein battery characteristics and reliability are improved. A solid battery relating to the present technology is provided with: at least one first laminated body formed by laminating, in the following order, a first electrolyte layer, first positive electrode layer, first current collector layer, and second positive electrode layer; at least one second laminated body formed by laminating, in the following order, a second electrolyte layer, first negative electrode layer, second current collector layer, and second negative electrode layer; a first insulating layer connected to at least a part of a side surface section of the first laminated body; and a second insulating layer connected to at least a part of a side surface section of the second laminated body. The first laminated body and the second laminated body are formed by being laminated on a first electrolyte layer main plane, on which the first positive electrode layer is not laminated, and a second negative electrode layer main plane, on which the second current collector layer is not laminated, or by being laminated on a second electrolyte layer main plane, on which the first negative electrode layer is not laminated, and a second positive electrode layer main plane, on which the first current collector layer is not laminated. The ion conductivities of the first current collector layer and the second current collector layer are 10-7 S/cm or lower, and the ion conductivities of the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer are 10-7 S/cm or lower.
