Abstract:
The present invention provides a solid electrolytic capacitor element which is provided with: a positive electrode foil that is provided with a porous part in the surface layer; a dielectric layer that is formed on at least a part of the surface of the positive electrode foil; and a negative electrode part that covers at least a part of the dielectric layer. The negative electrode part comprises: a solid electrolyte layer that covers at least a part of the dielectric layer; and a negative electrode lead-out layer that covers at least a part of the solid electrolyte layer. The positive electrode foil has a first portion that is a negative electrode formation part on which the solid electrolyte layer is formed, and a second portion on which the solid electrolyte layer is not formed; and at least one of the first portion and the second portion is provided, in the surface layer, with a dense part that has a lower void fraction than the porous part. The second portion contains at least a positive electrode part that includes an end of the positive electrode foil, said end being on the opposite side of the first portion. The present invention also provides a solid electrolytic capacitor which is suppressed in decrease in the capacitance in cases where the solid electrolytic capacitor is exposed to high temperatures by using the above-described solid electrolytic capacitor element.
