Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve improvement in accuracy of acquiring polarization information in a solid-state imaging device provided with polarizing pixels. [Solution] This solid-state imaging device is provided with: a plurality of polarizing pixels for acquiring polarized signals of incident light; a semiconductor substrate on which the polarizing pixels are arrayed; and a circuit layer that is provided to a surface opposed to the surface of the semiconductor substrate into which the incident light enters and that includes a polarizing pixel circuit for processing the polarized signals acquired by the polarizing pixels. A blank region for separating the polarizing pixels from each other is provided to the periphery of each of the polarizing pixels.
