Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state imaging device that can obtain an image having higher image quality. A plurality of unit pixels, comprising a plurality of photoelectric conversion units that are formed on a surface and generate signal charges according to the amount of incident light and a plurality of microlenses that respectively guide incident light to the plurality of photoelectric conversion unit groups, wherein one microlens is formed in one photoelectric conversion unit group of the plurality of photoelectric conversion unit groups including at least two adjacent photoelectric conversion units, and the photoelectric conversion units, that are insulated from each other by an impurity layer, are provided with pixel units arranged in a two-dimensional array. Furthermore, the plurality of unit pixels are provided with a plurality of light absorption layers which are formed between the microlens and a substrate and absorb a part of the incident light guided to the photoelectric conversion unit groups by the microlens.
