Title:
SOLUTION CALCULATION METHOD, SOLUTION CALCULATION DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/123749
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A solution calculation method according to an embodiment of the present invention is for calculating a solution of an optical wavelength assignment problem on an optical network, said method being characterized in that a computer carries out: an input procedure for inputting a zero-suppressed type binary decision diagram Zk that represents a set of paths which satisfy a predetermined constraint between a start point sk and an end point tk in the optical network (where k=1,···, K), a demand dk that corresponds to the zero-suppressed type binary decision diagram Zk, and the number Λ of wavelengths that can be used in the optical network; a preprocessing procedure for using the zero-suppressed type binary decision diagram Zk to calculate a binary decision diagram R that represents a set of combinations of pairs of the start point sk and the end point tk which have different links constituting the paths; an optimization procedure for using the zero-suppressed type binary decision diagram Zk, the demand dk, the binary decision diagram R, and the number Λ of wavelengths to calculate, by a greedy algorithm with respect to a submodular function maximization problem, an optical path that represents a path between the start point sk and the end point tk and the wavelength used in the path; and an output procedure for outputting the optical path for the start point sk and the end point tk as a solution of the optical wavelength assignment problem.
