Abstract:
A solution delivery device (100) is provided with a medical solution bag (101) which stores solution in a liquid-tight manner, a pump (104) which transports the solution stored in the medical solution bag (101), and a connection section (107) which connects to both the medical solution bag (101) and the pump (104). If the volume of the pump chamber (148) of the pump (104) is V (L), the volume of the connection chamber (117) of the connection section (107) is W (L), the proportion of air dissolved in the solution (M) within the medical solution bag (101) is a (%), and the proportion of air bubbles in the solution (M) within the pump chamber (148) when the pump (104) outputs discharge pressure (Py) equal to back pressure applied to a discharge hole (142) is by (%), the connection section (107) is formed in a shape which satisfies the relationship of W < (by-a)V/a.
