Abstract:
Provided are a sorting device, sorting method, and sorting program that not only arrange articles by sorting information, but can also distinguish articles to be sorted and articles not to be sorted. According to one embodiment, this sorting device has a camera, a recognition unit, and a control unit. The camera captures images of articles. The control unit instructs, through an extraction process for extracting a not-to-be-sorted feature from the images of the articles captured by the camera and a recognition process for recognizing sorting information for the images of the articles, to sort the articles, for which the not-to-be-sorted feature has been extracted by the extraction process, into a specific arrangement location, and to sort articles, for which the not-to-be-sorted feature has not been extracted, into an arrangement location based on sorting information.
