Abstract:
This sorting system comprises: a discrimination device for irradiating waste plastic pieces with light and determining a material on the basis of the spectrum of the reflected light; a sorting unit for sorting the waste plastic pieces on the basis of the determination result of the discrimination device; a surface treatment device for treating the surfaces of remaining waste plastic pieces from the waste plastic pieces sorted by the sorting unit; a discrimination device for irradiating, with light, the waste plastic pieces that have been surface-treated by the surface treatment device and determining a material on the basis of the spectrum of the reflected light; and a sorting unit for sorting the waste plastic pieces that have been surface-treated on the basis of the determination result of the discrimination device.
