Title:
SPECIMEN PRETREATMENT METHOD AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/157457
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Conventional protein-containing specimen pretreatment methods preceding analysis using LC-MS or electrophoresis are time-consuming, which is a limitation for various applications of the methods. Said methods also have problems such as sample loss. Development of a rapid and highly efficient pretreatment method with which said problems can be solved was necessary. Provided is a pretreatment method for a specimen containing a protein, said method including: a step for simultaneously carrying out protein denaturation and protein digestion which uses a heat-resistant enzyme immobilized on a substrate; and a step for recovering digested peptides.
