Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications, and particularly relates to a speed configuration method and device. The method comprises: generating indication information used to indicate a speed capacity supported by an eLWA UE unit; reporting to an LTE base station the indication information used to indicate a first speed of the eLWA UE unit, the first speed being greater than a second speed configured for the eLWA UE unit by a WLAN access point (AP). The present disclosure can solve the problem in which the eLWA UE unit cannot communicate with the LTE base station and the WLAN AP simultaneously if the first speed is lower than the second speed, thus ensuring a load balance between LTE and WLAN networks.
