Title:
SPHYGMOMANOMETER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/180085
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a sphygmomanometer device with which FBG sensors are utilized in a non-invasive method that relives a stress that is continuous and imposed on a subject. The present invention is provided with: fiber Bragg grating sensors (10, 12), each arranged at a plurality of measurement sites where a subject's pulse wave is to be detected; optical fiber sensor systems (14, 18, 20) for detecting signals associated with the pulse wave in the measurement sites of the fiber Bragg grating sensors (10, 12), separately with respect to the measurement sites; and a measurement unit (30) for sensing the patient's blood pressure value on the basis of the time difference in the pulse wave at the plurality of measurement sites.
