Abstract:
The present invention relates to a spray cooling device capable of improving the plate shape of a strip. The spray cooling device comprises a plurality of lateral spray tubes successively arranged along a running direction of a strip. The axial direction of each lateral spray tube is perpendicular to the running direction of the strip. A plurality of middle nozzles are arranged on each lateral spray tube along the axial direction thereof. The spray cooling device further comprises two groups of longitudinal spray tubes. The two groups of longitudinal spray tubes are arranged at two sides of the lateral spray tubes along the axial direction of the lateral spray tubes, and the longitudinal spray tubes are axially parallel to the running direction of the strip. A plurality of side nozzles are arranged on the longitudinal spray tubes along the axial directions thereof. By means of arranging the longitudinal spray tubes to cooperate with lateral spray tubes, different spray cooling coverage widths may be obtained, so that a corresponding spray width may be selected according to a production condition. At least, the longitudinal spray tubes are turned on to perform auxiliary spraying when the strip has 1/8 edge waves. Different cooling rates on the strip will cause different deformation rates under the action of large tension, so that the edge waves on the strip are finally reduced or eliminated, and thus the plate shape of the strip may be improved.
