Abstract:
Provided is a spring connector in which a high current can be prevented from directly flowing through a spring single body while constituting a spring using an insulation-coated metal wire in which metal is exposed at both end surfaces. A contact pin (1) is slidably held in an electroconductive tube (2), and the distal end of the contact pin (1) protrudes from the electroconductive tube (2). The electroconductive tube (2) houses a spring (3). The spring (3) is provided between a base end surface (1a) of the contact pin (1) and a bottom part (2a) of the electroconductive tube (2) so as to bias the contact pin (1) and the electroconductive tube (2) away from each other. The contact pin (1)-side end part (4) of the spring (3) is bent inwards, and an end surface included in the end part (4) of the spring (3) is positioned inside of the spring (3) with regards to both the radial and axial directions of the spring (3).
