Abstract:
A stacker crane (6) is provided with a travel unit (70) having: a drive wheel which is at least one of a first wheel (72) and a second wheel (73) disposed so as to oppose each other with a rail (5) therebetween; and a movement mechanism (80) for moving the drive wheel. The movement mechanism (80) has a first contact pressure regulating mechanism (83) and a second contact pressure regulating mechanism (84) that regulate the contact pressure of the drive wheel on the rail (5) by moving the drive wheel in a direction in which the first wheel (72) and the second wheel (73) move apart from each other or close to each other. One of the first contact pressure regulating mechanism (83) and the second contact pressure regulating mechanism (84) is disposed on one side of the drive wheel in the traveling direction of the travel unit (70), whereas the other of the first contact pressure regulating mechanism (83) and the second contact pressure regulating mechanism (84) is disposed on the other side of the drive wheel in the travel direction.
