Abstract:
A stair climbing apparatus and a control method therefor. The apparatus (100) comprises a track assembly (10), a carrying plate (20), a supporting assembly (30), an angle measurement assembly (40), a step recognition assembly (50), and an adjustment mechanism (60); the track assembly (10) comprises a chassis (12) and a track (11) provided on the chassis (12); the carrying plate (20) is rotatably connected to the chassis (12); the supporting assembly (30) comprises a supporting member (31) movably provided on the chassis (12); the angle measurement assembly (40) is used for measuring the angle of the carrying plate (20); the step recognition assembly (50) is used for recognizing the position of the track (11); and the adjustment mechanism (60) is used for cooperatively driving the carrying plate (20) to rotate and driving the supporting member (31) to extend out or retract from the chassis (12) when receiving a driving signal that is generated according to a measurement result of the angle measurement assembly (40), a recognition result of the step recognition assembly (50), and a running state of the track (11). The stair climbing apparatus (100) is always in a balanced state during running, and solves the problem that in the process of going upstairs and downstairs, the manual change of the angle of a machine body depends on experience and a tipping risk is extremely prone to occur.
