A flow measurement device, comprising a flow measurement body (1), a first connecting pipe (2) and a second connecting pipe (3), wherein one end of the first connecting pipe (2) is in communication with the flow measurement body (1); connectors (4) are arranged outside the first connecting pipe (2), the connectors (4) extend out of the other end of the first connecting pipe (2), and extending end portions of the connectors (4) are provided with abutting members (5); the first connecting pipe (2) is internally provided with a first snap-fitting portion (6); the second connecting pipe (3) is used for communicating with the first connecting pipe (2) and a pipeline (12) to be subjected to measurement, and abutting blocks (14) are arranged outside the second connecting pipe (3); the second connecting pipe (3) is internally provided with a second snap-fitting portion (7) and a sliding assembly (8), the sliding assembly (8) being used for adjusting the abutting members (5) to match the abutting blocks (14) when the first connecting pipe (2) is connected to the second connecting pipe (3); and when the first connecting pipe (2) is connected to the second connecting pipe (3), the first snap-fitting portion (6) matches the second snap-fitting portion (7), and the abutting members (5) match the abutting blocks (14). Further provided is a method for mounting the flow measurement device. The flow measurement device can be mounted and dismounted simply and quickly, thus saving time and labor; in addition, the first connecting pipe (2) and the second connecting pipe (3) can be reused, thereby reducing the production cost.
