Abstract:
To lighten the load on a driver to staple sheet stacks to attain a stapler with a smooth driving operation of the driver and reduce the occurrences of trouble. In a staple apparatus composed of a continuous belt-formed staple (200) comprising: a staple feed claw (25) for advancing the staple (200) sequentially to a stapling position (103); a driver (50) for driving the staple (200) drawn to the stapling position (103); a clincher (40) for bending the ends of the staples (200) driven into the sheets; and pivoting a staple feed pawl (25) interlock to the staple bending operation of the clincher (40) for sequentially feeding the staples (200) to the stapling position (103).
