Abstract:
Embodiments relate to a starting element (11) with a friction clutch (13) and a piston (15) designed to actuate the friction clutch (13). The starting element (11) further comprises a piston chamber (17) which by the piston (15) is at least partly separated from a residual chamber (19) of the starting element (11). The starting element (11) also comprises a first connection (21) designed to apply a hydraulic medium to the piston (15) from one side of the residual chamber (19); and a second connection (23) which is in fluid communication with the piston chamber (17). The second terminal (23) is subject to a maximum pressure that is equal to and/or smaller than a pressure applied to the first terminal (21).
