This status determination device includes: an imaging device for imaging a determination target that moves relatively; a determination target detection unit for detecting determination target information from a captured image by the imaging device and outputting the detected determination target information and uncertainty of the detection; and a target determination unit for determining that the status of the determination target is abnormal if the uncertainty is above a predetermined threshold.
