Abstract:
A static charge reduction device, comprises a humid air generator (100) for generating a humid air with a specified relative humidity, a humid air delivery apparatus (200) for delivering the humid air to a target object (400) and a grounded apparatus (300) connecting the humid air delivery apparatus (200) and ground (G), wherein the humid air delivery apparatus (200) has an opening (221) facing the target object (400), wherein the opening (221) is arranged with a conductive means (230) which both contacting the target object (400) and connecting the grounded apparatus (300). The drop of more than 90% of the original static voltage after the target object (400) was passed through and separated away from the conductive means (230). No air ionizer has been used in neutralizing and cutting down the static charge.
