Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a steam iron, said steam iron comprising: a water tank for storing water; a body with a steam generating device installed therein for converting the water provided from the water tank into steam; a main heating plate installed at one side of the body and provided with a plurality of main steam discharging ports for discharging the steam generated by the steam generating device; an auxiliary heating plate provided with an auxiliary steam discharging port for discharging the steam discharged from the plurality of main steam discharging ports; and a heating plate cover which is detachably coupled to the body.
