Abstract:
A steam valve and a cooking appliance, the steam valve comprising: a valve seat (10), a valve cover (20), and a grid (30), the valve cover (20) covering the valve seat (10) and being connected to the valve seat (10) to encircle a steam chamber; the grid (30) is detachably mounted on the valve seat (10), and is supported between the valve cover (20) and the valve seat (10). The present steam valve, by means of mounting a grid (30) on the valve seat (10), lengthens the flow distance of the steam inside the steam chamber, enhancing the anti-overflow effect of the product; the grid (30) is detachably mounted on the valve seat (10), facilitating disassembly of the grid (30) and the valve seat (10) for comprehensive cleaning, avoiding the problem of cleaning being difficult or not thorough as a result of coagulated rice water from cooking sticking to inaccessible corners formed by the grid (30) and the valve seat (10), as well as the problems of blockage of the steam chamber of the steam valve, poor deaeration effects, or prolonged cooking time as a result of cleaning of the grid (30) being difficult or not thorough; cleaning of the grid (30) and the valve seat (10) is thus facilitated, and the usage effects of the steam valve are ensured.
