Title:
STEEL CORD-RUBBER COMPOSITE AND TIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/095812
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a steel cord-rubber composite that demonstrates excellent adhesiveness between rubber and a steel cord even when the amount of cobalt used is small. In order to achieve the foregoing, the present invention provides a steel cord-rubber composite that is obtained by covering a steel cord having one or multiple steel wires with a rubber composition, the steel cord-rubber composite being characterized: in that the rubber composition contains a rubber component and an amine antioxidant represented by general formula (1) [in the formula, R1 and R2 are each independently a monovalent saturated hydrocarbon group]; and that as measured by an X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) method, the steel wire has, on the top surface thereof, a brass plating layer including 0.3-1.7 at% of phosphorus, 2.5-14 at% of zinc, and 0.01-2.0 at% of a metal having an ionization tendency that is smaller than that of zinc but greater than that of copper.
