Abstract:
The present invention relates to a steering member (1) that, primarily in order to reliably provide effectively functioning burring holes in a steering member: comprises at least a metal, tube-shaped member main body (3) extending in the vehicle width direction (2); and has burring holes (4) provided on the circumferential surface of the member main body (3) and protruding towards the inside of the member main body (3). The burring holes (4) have a sagging amount (22) relative to the circumferential direction (21) of the member main body (3) that is smaller than a sagging amount (24) relative to the axial direction (23) of the member main body (3).
