Abstract:
A stent delivery system (100) has a stent (170), a retractable sheath (140B) on the base end side along the axial direction covering the periphery of the stent, a peeling material (190A) provided on the inner peripheral side of the sheath, and a drug-containing material (190B) that includes a drug and that is held on the sheath via the peeling material. The peeling material and the drug-containing material have different decomposition times under identical conditions in a liquid including water, and the decomposition time of the peeling material is shorter than the decomposition time of the drug-containing material.
