Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sterilization device and method using a photochemical reaction, the sterilization device comprising: a housing in which a sterilizing solution is stored; a UV irradiation part which irradiates the sterilizing solution stored in the housing with UV rays so as to activate reduction-oxidation of the sterilizing solution; and a spray part which is provided in the housing so as to spray the activated sterilizing solution out of the housing. As such, the present invention can not only improve the sterilizing power of a sterilizing solution by using a photochemical reaction, but can also ensure user safety.
