Abstract:
[Problem] To realize an easy-to-handle stick vacuum cleaner in which directionality when moving a suction head is eliminated. [Solution] A stick vacuum cleaner 1 comprises a suction head 2, a universal joint 3, a stick 4, and a suction channel 5. The suction head 2 can be displaced in any direction. The universal joint 3 projects vertically upward from roughly the center of the upper part of the suction head 2, and can be moved in any direction. The stick 4 is attached on one end to the universal joint 3, and extends in the axial direction of the universal joint 3. The suction channel 5 is provided on a circle concentric with the universal joint 3, e.g., in alignment with the inner circumferential side of the universal joint 3, and communicates the suction head 2 and the stick 4.
