Abstract:
A storage battery (1) has: an electricity storage unit (10); an auxiliary electricity storage unit (11) connected in parallel with the electricity storage unit (10); a temperature measurement unit (13) for measuring temperature; and a charging and discharging control unit (14) for controlling the charging and discharging of the electricity storage unit (10) and the auxiliary electricity storage unit (11). In the storage battery (1), the charging and discharging control unit (14) changes, according to the measurement result by the temperature measurement unit (13), the SOCs (charging completion SOCs) of the electricity storage unit (10) and the auxiliary electricity storage unit (11) in a charging completion state in which any more charging is not allowed. When decreasing the charging completion SOC of the electricity storage unit (10), the charging and discharging control unit (14) increases the charging completion SOC of the auxiliary electricity storage unit (11). When increasing the charging completion SOC of the electricity storage unit (10), the charging and discharging control unit (14) decreases the charging completion SOC of the auxiliary electricity storage unit (11).
