Abstract:
The present invention provides a technology for keeping the quality of data of a battery state, while avoiding running out of power to be fed to a device that measures the battery state. To achieve this end, a storage battery system according to the present invention comprises storage batteries and a battery management device. Further, the battery management device comprises a storage battery for measurement, and measures the state of storage batteries during a period in which an apparatus having mounted thereon the storage battery system is halted, at a time interval based on an elapsed time from the halt or the remaining capacity of the storage battery for measurement. Specifically, the battery management device measures the state of storage batteries at a longer time interval as the elapsed time from the halt becomes longer. Alternatively, the battery management device measures the state of storage batteries at a longer time interval as the remaining capacity of the storage battery for measurement becomes lower.
