Abstract:
The present invention provides a storage device (20) which, when connected to a computer, activates so as to become capable of communication. The storage device (20) is provided with: an interface (240) which controls communication with a computer; a data storage unit (250) which stores data received from the computer via the interface (240); a radio signal processing unit (220) which receives a radio signal which includes ID information at each of predetermined timings so as to authenticate the received ID information; and a control unit (210) which, with the authenticated ID information as a key, encrypts the data, sends the encrypted data to the data storage unit, and additionally, if the radio signal processing unit (220) does not receive a radio signal including the authenticated ID information within a predetermined amount of time, disables communication with the computer in the interface (240).
