Abstract:
Disclosed is a storage and dispensing device for wire-like material (100) composed of a drive mechanism (20) enclosed in a shell (10), a wire-cutting mechanism (30) and a wire storage spool (40), wherein the shell (10) comprises an upper shell (11) and a lower shell (12), said upper shell (11) and lower shell (12) being corresponding structures fastened together as one piece, and including a rectangular part (121), a projecting part (122), a positioning part (123), a positioning peg (125) and a wire-inlet slot (1245) and a wire-outlet slot (1243) which are in communication with a depressed groove (124); the drive mechanism (20) comprises a press-rod (21) and a main shaft (22), whereupon are stacked and held by a second spring (29) a main wheel (23), a rotary wheel (24) toothedly engaged therewith, and a main roller (25) held between said rotating wheel (24) and an anti-reverse device (26); the wire-cutting mechanism (30) comprises a blade holder (31) and a cutting piece (32); the wire storage spool (40) comprises a central hole (41) and a wire storage groove (42). The storage and dispensing device for wire-like material (100) is suitable for one-handed operation, and the length of a wire dispensed therefrom is accurately measured, preventing wastage of wire materials.
