Abstract:
This straddle-type vehicle (1) comprises: a motive power source (2) which generates motive power required for the straddle vehicle to travel; a notification device (10) which notifies a rider on the straddle-type vehicle; and a control device (3) which controls the motive power source and the notification device. The notification device has an abnormality notification unit (11) which, in a case where the straddle-type vehicle is currently in a first abnormal state after transition from a normal state, is configured to provide notification of the first abnormal state with a view to prompting the rider to bring the vehicle back to the normal state from the first abnormal state. In the case where the first abnormal state has lasted, the control device is configured to start a restricted state in which a restriction is imposed on the performance of the motive power source.
