Abstract:
A stretch composite film comprising a sintered ePTFE film and an elastomer resin layer which is produced by forming continuously an elastomer resin layer on at least one of the surfaces of a sintered ePTFE film, stretching continuously the obtained multilayer film either biaxially at a draw ratio of less than the draw ratio of the sintered ePTFE film at yield point but 1.3 or above or uniaxially without causing shrinkage in the direction perpendicular to the direction of stretching, and relaxing the resulting stretched multilayer film and which exhibits a tensile stress at 10% elongation of 2.5 N/15mm or below in the lengthwise and/or widthwise direction of the composite film and/or an extensibility of 30 % or above in the lengthwise and/or widthwise direction of the composite film with a recovery of extension of 70 % or above.
