Abstract:
The present invention provides a stripping tool that can handle a plurality of types of covered wire using one stripping tool. This stripping tool includes a stripping tool body 12, a blade holding body 16 that moves forward and backward toward a covered wire, a blade body 18, and a covered-wire-holding body 100. A body part 20 of the stripping tool body 12 includes a grip body 22 formed so as to secure the covered wire holding body 100. The covered wire holding body 100 is arranged in a region that can hold a covered wire W between itself and the blade body 18, which is different from the side at which the blade body 18 contacts the covered wire W. A covered wire holder 102 of the covered wire holding body 100 is formed so as to contact a surface that can hold the covered wire W between itself and the blade body 18, which is different from the side at which the blade body 18 contacts the covered wire W. The covered wire holding body 100 is detachably attached to an attachment unit so that the covered wire holder 102 faces the blade body 18.
