Abstract:
The structure of a bearing for a gear in an external gear pump (P) comprises: a driving gear (G1) and a driven gear (G2) which are rotatably accommodated inside a pump body (B) of the external gear pump (P); an inlet chamber (2I) formed on one side of a mesh portion between the driving gear (G1) and the driven gear (G2); an outlet chamber (2O) formed on the other side of the mesh portion; a cylindrical bushing (F) forming a lubricating liquid film in a gap to a rotary shaft (GS) of at least one of the driving gear (G1) and the driven gear (G2) to support the rotary shaft (GS); and an annular plate spring (4) which is disposed between the pump body (B) and the bushing (F) and which biases the bushing (F) toward a side surface of at least one of the driving gear (G1) and the driven gear (G2).
