This structure for the lower part of a vehicle body is provided with: side sill load transmission members (52, 56) provided within side sills (14, 15); a floor cross-member (35) provided on one of the upper surface (16a) and the lower surface (16b) of a floor panel (16) which is bridged between the side sills (14, 15), and having extended sections (108) extending toward the upper portions (56a) of the side sill load transmission members (52, 56); an under-floor mounted component (28) provided below the floor panel (16) and provided with an under-floor cross-member (131); under-floor frames (29, 30) attached to the lower portion of the under-floor mounted component (28) and the lower portions of the side sills (14, 15); and under-floor load transmission members (152) provided to the under-floor frames (29, 30) and facing the under-floor cross-member (131). The under-floor load transmission members (152) have: upper half portions (152a) facing the lower portions (56b) of the side sill load transmission members (52, 56); and lower half portions (152b) affixed to the portions of the under-floor frames (29, 30), which are attached to the lower portions of the side sills (14, 15).
