Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a structure for mounting and fixing a damper unit in a steering wheel, and a steering wheel, with which it is possible to: mount and fix a mounting pin member to a support part without rattling, prevent abnormal noise and improve durability, and improve the effect of damping vibrations in the steering wheel; and that has a simple structure and an excellent mounting workability. [Solution] This invention is provided with: a collar member 12 formed to a hollow cylinder shape having, at one end, an opening 12b into which a mounting pin member 11 of a damper unit is inserted, the collar member 12 being fixed to a core metal member 5; a seat part 23 provided at the other end of the collar member, an insertion-side tip of a pin being seated on the seat part 23; a positioning groove 12d formed, on the collar member, between the seat part and the opening; a latching groove 11b formed in the pin, the latching groove 11b being located in the positioning groove when the insertion-side tip is seated on the seat part; and a spring material 14 provided to the core metal member so as to be inserted through the positioning groove, the spring material 14 being elastically latched in the latching groove and holding the pin when the insertion-side tip is seated on the seat part.
