Abstract:
A strut mount comprising an inner tube (1) and an outer tube (2) that are coupled through a rubberlike elastic body (3), wherein the inner tube (1) is formed by coupling the bottom wall (6) of a cup-like upper metal (5) opening upward and the bottom wall (9) of a cup-like lower metal (8) opening downward. The upper metal (5) is provided with a first tapered tubular part (12) spreading upward and the outer tube (2) is provided with a third tapered tubular part (17) spreading upward. The first tapered tubular part (12) or the third tapered tubular part (17) has a noncircular transverse section, and the tubular part (12) and the third tapered tubular part (17) are overlapped when viewed in the axial direction of the tubular part (12) over a specified range.
