Abstract:
The present invention provides a substrate for an organic EL display device with which it is possible to reduce the decline in luminance when vacuum vapor deposition is used. The present invention also provides an organic EL display device, a method for manufacturing an organic EL display device, and a device for manufacturing an organic EL display device. The present invention is a substrate for an organic EL display device that is provided with a light-emitting region that includes a plurality of pixels, and a getter member with which it is possible to adsorb contamination, the getter member being provided on at least a part of the periphery of the light-emitting region. It is preferable for the getter member to contain at least one material selected from the group consisting of aluminum (Al), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti), silicon (Si), silicon nitride, an organic resin, a positive electrode material, a hole-injecting layer material, a hole-transporting layer material, and a light-emitting layer material.
