Abstract:
A suction discharge unit 11 includes a storage chamber 31 which stores a liquid flowing in from a first connecting hole 23a, and a water sealing chamber 32 divided from the storage chamber 31 by means of a first separating wall 24. The water sealing chamber 32 includes a first chamber 32a and a second chamber 32b divided by means of a second separating wall. The first chamber 32a communicates with the storage chamber 31, and is separated therefrom by means of the first separating wall 24 such that liquid cannot flow. The second chamber 32b is separated from the first chamber 32a by means of sealing water 33 and the second separating wall 25, and is connected to a suction pump 12 by way of a second connecting hole 23b. The suction discharge unit 11 includes: a seal member 51 which allows the storage chamber 31 or the first chamber 32a to be open to the atmosphere; and a valve operating unit 70 which is accommodated in the first chamber 32a and which presses the seal member 51 in accordance with the height of a water surface 33a of the sealing water 33 to open or close the seal member 51.
