Abstract:
A sunken wheel-side motor drive axle, comprising an axle cross beam assembly (8) and further comprising two drive motor assemblies (7, 15), two reducer assemblies, and two hub assemblies (2, 10) respectively arranged on left and right ends of the axle cross beam assembly (8). The drive motor assemblies are symmetrically arranged at the bottoms of the left and right ends of the axle cross beam assembly (8), respectively; and the drive motor assemblies (7, 15) transfer power to the reducer assemblies, and the reducer assemblies drive the hub assemblies (2, 10) to rotate. According to the wheel-side motor drive axle, drive motors are arranged at the bottom of the axle cross beam assembly (8), so that spatial occupation is reduced, the width of a carriage passage of a new energy coach is increased, and passenger comfort is improved; and the transmission speed ratio is increased by means of three-stage reduction transmission, the demand for output torque of the drive motor is lowered while equal wheel-side drive torque is ensured, and the size of the drive motor can also be effectively reduced.
