Abstract:
Provided is a sunlight-shielding device that is easily assembled and that allows the lower limit position of a bottom rail to be easily and finely adjusted. The sunlight-shielding device of the present invention comprises: a sunlight-shielding material; a bottom rail; a raising/lowering cord suspended from a headbox and used for supporting the bottom rail; a raising/lowering means for varying the length of the raising/lowering cord to raise and lower the bottom rail; restricting means for restricting the lower limit position of the bottom rail; and an adjustment device disposed inside the bottom rail and used for adjusting the lower limit position of the bottom rail by varying the draw-in distance by which the raising/lowering cord is drawn into the bottom rail in accompaniment with the rotation of a rotating member. The adjustment device is provided with a holding member for holding the raising/lowering cord, a rotating member attached to the holding member so as to be capable of relative rotation, and a rotation-operating part for causing the rotating member to rotate. The holding member is provided with a first cord accommodation groove for accommodating the raising/lowering cord.
