Abstract:
A supercharger according to the present invention comprises: a turbine rotor that is rotationally driven by exhaust gas from an engine; a turbine housing that accommodates the turbine rotor and forms a scroll flow path on the outer peripheral side of the turbine rotor; a plurality of nozzle vanes that are provided in an introduction path that leads the exhaust gas to the turbine rotor after the exhaust gas has passed through the scroll flow path; and a pair of introduction path forming members that are disposed facing one another so as to form the introduction path, and include a nozzle mount and a nozzle plate installed so as to form a gap between the nozzle plate and an inner wall surface of the turbine housing, wherein a spiral-shaped gap space extending in the reverse direction from the rotational direction of the turbine rotor is formed in the gap.
