Abstract:
A superconducting nanowire single-photon detector, comprising: a bending fractal nanowire structure and an optical cavity structure. The bending fractal nanowire structure is used to alleviate the current crowding effect and realize insensitivity of the detection efficiency to the polarization state of incident photons, and the bending fractal nanowire structure comprises parallel bending fractal nanowires and series bending fractal nanowires; and the optical cavity structure is used to achieve simultaneous optimization of internal quantum efficiency and absorption efficiency. This single-photon detector can be widely used in multiple fields such as optical communication, single-photon imaging, fluorescence detection and quantum optics.
