Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the side impact safety of a battery pack even when a battery pack having a larger size in the vehicle width direction than the distance between frames in an electric truck is arranged below the frames. [Solution] A support device 10 for a vehicle battery pack 2 is installed below a pair of side rails 3R, 3L extending in the vehicle front-back direction of a vehicle 1 and has a pair of side surfaces each facing the vehicle front-back direction, the long sides of the side surfaces are orthogonal to the vehicle front-back direction and extend further outward in the vehicle width direction than the side rails 3R, 3L, and the support device 10 comprises: battery-side brackets 20 in which the battery pack 2 is accommodated; frame-side brackets 30 that are arranged on the outer side of the side rails 3R, 3L in the vehicle width direction and connect the battery-side brackets 20; and protrusions 50L, 50R that extend in the vehicle front-back direction on the upper surface of the battery-side brackets 20 and are disposed so as to at least partially face the side rails 3R, 3L and/or the frame-side brackets 30 in the vehicle width direction.
