Abstract:
There has been a problem such that if a target person moves suddenly during face authentication processing that uses a zoom image, the target person is no longer within the image-capture range of a zoom lens. This surveillance camera comprises: a wide-angle lens that captures a surveillance region at a normal time; a zoom lens that can move in a pan direction and a tilt direction; a face detecting unit that performs face detection processing using a wide-angle image captured using the wide-angle lens; and a face authentication unit that captures a detected face region using the zoom lens and performs face authentication processing using the captured zoom image.
